I was a recipient of Connecticare last year. I cancelled my healthcare through Access Health Care in November or December last year.

I called connecticare to see why i am still getting billed. They said because Access Health has not sent my file over stating that I have cancelled. I AM still getting billed and this is very stressful for a single mom. Connecticare had a conference call with me and Access Health to ask why they havent received my information.

The gentleman indicated that it was escalated and I would just have to wait. He had no idea how long it would take. I asked to speak with someone in escalation and he said there was not a number or person I could speak with. In the mean time I need to file my taxes but the information is not correct on my 1095 for my Insurance and because of this I am having to owe back taxes..This is another whole part to this MESS.

I was told I was given 900 too much towards my plan. I dont know how this is possible when I gave my earnings and I actually made less thn what i reported. How is that possible that I would be given too much and how do I get this fixed.

I am calling an attorney to see if there is anything I can do. My case is not getting escalated and Im sure someone out there will want to shed some light on this racket Access Health has created.

Having a similar issue here as far as them not telling me how long it will take, and not being able to contact anyone in the โ€œescalationโ€ department, this has been ongoing for a month and a hal. I didnโ€™t have that insurance last year but got a 1095a form claiming I did.

I am getting so stressed out about this and can not file my taxes until they fix this issue! About to file a claim with the better business bureau
